Practitioners Get Creative to Lure Buyers

Real estate practitioners in highly competitive California markets are using extreme creativity to attract buyers.

Prudential California Associate Andrew Karigan hired a string quartet from the regional symphony to play at twilight and sent invitations to other practitioners and the neighbors to come hear them and see his $5.3 million listing.

Laguna Beach Coastal Property Experts Associate Hillary Caston created slapstick videos to feature home listings. They revolve around Caston playing a burglar. “Three homes sold within a week of launching the videos,” she said. “We have received over 3,000 views on some of our videos, and we have a following of people waiting to see another Laguna Beach home ‘breaking and entering.’”
